February 2023 Card Layout #17
A fun fold that uses SU’s designer series paper (DSP). This fun fold is perfect for a wedding card. I did not purchase the Framed Florets stamp set or dies. But I had to have this paper! A little fussy cutting to get the images to add to the card. The paper is no longer available, but any double sided paper would work.
To make the fun fold flap, measure down 2 3/4” from the top of the outside edge of the card. Cut from the second scoreline to the mark on the outside edge. Repeat of the other side.
- 5 1/2” x 12” and 2 1/2” x 6” patterned paper
- 3 3/4” x 5 1/4” white cardstock and scrap for label
- Cardstock for label or punch
- Score patterned paper at 2”, 4”, 8” and 10”. Fold on score lines for the card base. Measure 2 3/4” from the top on each side of the card and make a pencil mark. Cut from the top of the second scoreline to the pencil mark on each side. See picture below.
- Stamp sentiment on white card stock. Stamp or decorate as you wish. Adhere to inside of card.
- Stamp white cardstock scrap and die cut or punch label. Add label to front left side panel.
- Adhere smaller panel of patterned paper to envelope flap and trim.
